MBTI and Careers

Someone's Myers-Briggs personality type can tell you a lot about them. I'm an INFJ, one of the rarest personality types since we only make up 1-3% of the population. We are known as reserved individuals who are goal-oriented, empathetic, sensitive and have a perfectionistic nature. Let's talk about how I, as an INFJ, can make the most out of my strengths for future careers.

WHAT CAREERS ARE THEY DRAWN TO?

INFJs are drawn towards careers that allow them to do meaningful and humanity-based work. Their empathetic nature calls on them to contribute to wellbeing. INJFs most likely find joy in careers related to psychology, counseling, science, non-profit, or advocacy.
My original career path was to become an environmental lawyer, which lines up perfectly with advocacy. My new career path lies in non-profit based public relations and marketing.

WHAT ARE WE LIKE IN THE WORKPLACE?

INFJs are known as the behind-the-scenes players, they don't require a lot of attention to get the job done well. Even though they are quiet, and tend to be introverted, they are reliable and dedicated when they take the lead to carry out any projects (big or small).
